Life can be challenging to manage at times, and difficult to bear all on one’s own. Reaching out for help is the healthiest approach to working through some of life’s complexities. Therapy offers an objective listening ear, another’s perspective, and coping strategies that will assist you to process difficult relationships, workplace situations, traumatic events, and complex emotions.
I am trained in a variety of therapeutic orientations, approaches, and techniques. Specifically, I operate from an eclectic, holistic, person-centered, and existentialist framework, incorporating elements of Attachment Theory, Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), Structural Dissociation Model, Systematic Desensitization, Exposure Therapy, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), the Developmental Model, and the Gottman Method. During our time together, I will explain the approaches that we will utilize and the rationale for any interventions suggested. Research indicates that healing occurs within the context of the therapeutic relationship. Our collaboration will involve an open dialogue, which will include asking questions and sharing thoughts and feelings throughout the entire therapeutic process.
